Working alongside experienced professionals, interns at MSA have a unique opportunity to apply their academic learning and contribute toward a life-saving mission. The intern will collaborate with various levels of HR professionals to achieve key business initiatives. The intern will have the opportunity to align our global initiative by participating in multiple projects. Projects consist of the following:

    Responsibilities

     

    • Lead focus groups and facilitate meetings in an effort to plan and execute key initiative.
    • Benchmarking best practices.
    • Create communications, timelines, key initiative and milestones in collaboration with the HR Leadership Team.
    • Identify initiative and develop project scope to focus on process improvement within HR.
    • General support with existing processes and policies.

     

     

    Qualifications

    Special knowledge, skills and abilities required:

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
    • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)

    Education required:

    • Incumbent should be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin / Management, Employee / Labor Relations, or other related disciplines and must be of Junior status.

     

    Preferred:

     

    • Senior status
